The JCMF offers scholarships annually for secondary students in years 7 to 11. We seek to acknowledge students who show promise, talent, determination and commitment. We support students who are experiencing financial disadvantage and who strive to achieve their potential.

Scholarships of up to $1000 are available for students to complete their schooling, training or apprenticeship.

Working closely with the schools and colleges we are able to provide support to promising young students at the time when they need it.

'This scholarship makes such a huge difference to students and their families. You should be so very, very proud. It's such a wonderful legacy.'
Raffaela Galati Brown, principal of Northern College of Arts and Technology

Our scholarship program commenced in 2007. Since then, we have awarded 264 scholarships to secondary students in schools in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. We've granted a total of $222,929 in scholarship funding.

Applicants should:

  • Show promise, passion and motivation to pursue their talent
  • Be currently attending secondary school (years 7-11) or a training college
  • Be able to provide evidence of financial need (ie Youth Allowance, EMA etc)
  • Be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Priority is given to students attending government schools.
